Richmond City Councilmember to present 100K petitions demanding Chevron stop polluting our democracy

chevron-pollutes-democracy-300.jpgJoin members of the Sierra Club, Team Richmond, RPA, APEN, CBE and other groups to demand that Chevron stop its anti-democratic media campaigns. Richmond City Councilmember Eduardo Martinez, will deliver to the media 100,000 petitions against Chevron's cynical efforts to pollute our democracy and elections.

In the recent 2014 election, Chevron tried to pollute the democratic process with with mountains of falsified flyers, essentially dumping over 3 million dollars of political ads to Richmond residents. We all know it didn’t work— in Richmond. But this didn’t, and it will not, stop Chevron’s operatives from continuing to do the same again, here and around the US.

Come out and join us for a free cup of coffee, and help us make sure that Chevron hears us, loud and clear, when we say: "Chevron: Stop Polluting our Democracy!”
