Reclaim MLK's Radical Legacy, Jan 18

reclaim-mlk.jpgJoin the Anti Police-Terror Project for the 2nd Annual March to Reclaim MLK's Radical Legacy.  Organizers promise an event that embodies the true spirit of King's resistance to capitalism, imperialism and racism.  Meet at 11am at 14th & Broadway and march to the Bay Street Mall in Emeryville, a site of police terror against Yuvette Henderson, who was shot dead last February 2nd in front of Home Depot after being confronted by a security guard for alleged shoplifting. Yuvette Henderson was murdered in a hail of gunfire by police armed with AR-15 military-grade machine guns.

The 2nd Annual March to Reclaim MLK also commemorates the deaths-by-police of Nate Wilks, Richard Perkins, Richard Linyard, Demoriah Hogg, Yonas Alehegne, Amilcar Lopez, Mario Woods and Alex Nieto.

Rides will be provided for those who can't march.
