The presentation “Sustainable is Possible: Creating Low Carbon, High Quality Lives... Together” shows how we can live high quality lives while using only 10% of the resources of the average American. Q and A will follow the talk.
Using only 10% of the resources of the average American is the current scientific estimate for the goal we need to reach in order to head off the worst effects of climate disruption. Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage is achieving that goal, and thus is a timely, relevant and needed model as our society struggles to figure out what a livable, lowcarbon future might look like. Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, founded in 1997 in Missouri, has created one of the foremost sustainable living demonstration projects in the nation, and its impact is steadily increasing.
