Nightime March calling for UC Divestment, Wednesday, Nov. 12

fossil-free-cal.jpgThe student group, Fossil Free Cal, will lead a nighttime march around the south side of the Berkeley campus. The march starts at 9 PM at the corner of Telegraph and Bancroft.

The action aims to send a clear message to UC Regents that a growing number of students and faculty support full divestment from companies involved with processing, transporting or marketing natural gas, oil, and coal.

Fossil Fuel Cal asks participants to bring whistles, pots, drums and signs. They want the Regents to hear the complaints rather than trying to ignore them.
